qu’il souhaite que Churchill écrive à toutes les
parties impliquées, et Churchill le redictera
dans la forme qu’il croit la meilleure. Il a été
vivement intéressé par ce qu’il a vu à Kenley,
quoique profondément chagriné d’apprendre
les pertes subies par le n° 3. Il lui rendra
visite à nouveau quand l’uniforme sera prêt …

etc. Randolph Churchill a resigné le menu
deux autres fois, le 6 novembre 1958 et le
21 juillet 1966.
La couverture est illustrée en pleine page
d’un dessin aquarellé représentant un marin
sur un bâtiment de guerre anglais, un autre
navire à l’horizon.

with a drawing.

Illustrated menu for a diner in honour of
Churchill, signed by the attendees with
an autograph note signed and dated by
Alphonse GEORGES. Other signatures
include the physicist Frederick Alexander
LINDEMANN, Generals Henri BINEAU and
John George SWAYNE, the future General
André NAVEREAU, J. Pabst, Paul Morel, etc.
Randolph Churchill signed the menu again
on 6 November 1958 and 21 July 1966.
The cover is illustrated by a watercolor drawing
showing a seaman on a British war ship.
Churchill requests that HARVEY provide a first
draft of the letters that need to be sent to
all concerned parties. Churchill will after
adapt the letters to the best form. He was
interested in what he was at Kenley Airport
but chagrined by the losses of « no. 3 ».
He will visit again once the uniform is ready.
