Grand plan imprimé et
illustré de présentation des cabines des passagers de première classe
(72,5 x 98,5 cm à vue, encadré). Ce plan, édité par la White Star Line,
présente un plan détaillé des cabines de première classe, réparties
sur les différents ponts constituant le navire. Il est précisé en titre que
le
Titanic
est en 1912 l’un des deux plus grands bateaux à vapeur au
monde, qu’il mesure 269 mètres de long, 28 mètres de large, pour
45 000 tonnes. Les cabines y étaient luxueusement aménagées,
dotées de salles de bains privées. Les passagers de première classe
pouvaient se divertir dans les nombreuses salles de réception, se
détendre à la piscine ou au gymnase.

au sénateur J.A. Hughes [dont la fille Catherine était
à bord du Titanic], daté New York 15 avril 1912 :

illustrated presentation of passenger cabins first class (72.5 x 98.5
cm at sight, framed). This plan, published by
the White Star Line

presents a detailed layout of the first-class cabins, spread over the
various bridges constituting the ship. It is stated in title that the Titanic
is one of the two largest steamboats in the world, measuring 269
meters long, 28 meters wide, weighing 45 000 tons. The cabins were
luxuriously planned with private bathrooms. First-class passengers
could had access to numerous reception rooms, could relax by the
pool or work-out in the gym.
