pp. (slightly yellowed, dampstains in the margins or in the corners, marginal wormholes in the middle of the vol., rare ink stains and holes in the text, repair in the margin of p. 255). Contemporary binding : calf, blind decorated ribbed spine, sprinkled edges (rubbed, some scratches, small lacks at the lower turn in, edges and corners slightly dulled, one corner more strongly).
Encyclopedic work (1st ed. : 1585) listing and describing 154 professions (alchimists, professors, writers, glove makers, canons, pirates, fortunetellers, gravediggers...) with references and extracts of ancient and contemporary authors.
