Impressive propaganda representation of a vulture perched on a branch, on a green background. By the American visual artist W.F. Elmes (1900-11956). "The Mather Work Incentive poster program represents some 350 posters printed in Chicago between 1923 and 1929. Designed to improve worker productivity and reduce turnover during a time of economic expansion and plentiful jobs, the posters featured traditional American virtues and represent a unique chapter in American advertising and economic history" (expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/110662). On verso, same publ., date & size : What's your score ?
