handwritten provenances on title-page, tear repaired in the margin of title-page, dampstains, rare handwritten notes in the margins, last lvs rebound, small tears at the end, with lacks of text on the last lf.). Early 17th Century binding : calf, blind decorated ribbed spine (small lacks in the turns ins and the spine, edges and corners dulled, trimmed).
New Testament with the Epistles of Paul, the Catholic Epistles and the Apocalypse published the year of the convening by Paul Ill of the Council of Trent. Illustrated with 104 woodcuts (various sizes) in the text, often repeated in the Gospels,- one full-page with the title preceding the Acts of Apostles,- books titles within cartouches, some with historiated vignettes (the Evangelists, etc.),- historiated or ornemental initials letters,-François Gryphe's griffon mark on titel-page.
