In-f°; portrait, frontispiece and 102 plates with text lvs in facing (part II missing, light and some large dampstains, some stains and foxing, plates 24 and 25 inverted, small wormholes in the 3 last lvs). Contemporary binding : threequarter sheepskin, sprinkled paper boards, ribbed spine, red sprinkled edges (rubbed with large lacks, joints partly split, upper turn in lacking, lack in the lower turn in, edges and corners strongly dulled, handwritten notes on the upper flyleaf, wormholes in the lower turn in and pastedown).
Part I only with parallel text Latin-German of one of the earliest treaties on perspective in art and architecture (1st ed. Latin-Italian : 1693-1700; 1st ed. Latin-German : 17061709). Illustrated with the portrait of the author, 1 frontispiece, 2 unnumbered plates (one figuring the "Ordines architecturae desumpti ex Palladio et Scamozzio") and 100 numbered technical plates.
