London, For Longman, Hurts, Rees and Orme, and C. Chapelle, 1806. 2 volumes grand in-4°, demi-veau à petits coins de vélin ivoire, dos lisse orné (reliure anglaise de l’époque). Deux titres ornés, un portrait et 52 planches (23 + 29) gravées à l’aquatinte par BRYANT, certaines repliées, dont une en frontispice du t. II (« Chanteloup, the Seat of the Duke de Choiseul) » ; deux planches de portées musicales (t. II, pp. 130) ; vignettes et culs-de-lampe. UN DES QUELQUES EXEMPLAIRES sur GRAND PAPIER avec PLANCHES EN COULEURS. Mors restaurés ; coins émoussés ; tomaisons inversées ; f. XIII/XIV (t. I) relié après le XV/XVI ; trois feuillets tachés. « Nous avons cru devoir citer ce ’’Voyage cynégétique en France’’, fait au début du XIXe siècle, notre propre littérature ne possédant rien d’analogue » (Thiébaud, 896/897). Une traduction française fut donnée par la Revue britannique en 1894.
