Parris : “The survivors of those who shared with you the perils of the camp are desirous of an opportunity of again meeting you in person ; and all are anxious that you would visit our State previous to your return to your native Country" Albion Parris (1788-1857) was fifth Governor of Maine, serving between 1822 and 1827, later becoming a Senator.
