In-f° : [2]-154-[1] pp. Publisher's binding : embroidered fabric in brocade with Temple of Heaven in the center and the title within a decorated frame, flat spine (emblazoned bookplate at the upper boardplate). In a cardboard box of which the top is illustrated with a landscape. Illustrated with 71 (and not 70, cfr title) photographs in full-page in a decorative frame of which 12 in colours : Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Porcelain Pagoda, Western Hills, Temple of Heaven, the Observatory, etc., and some testimony of religion (Temple of Buddha or Lama Temples).
